Conveyor Belt Water Diversion Instructions
Divert water off low traffic road surfaces.
Conveyor belt water diversions are intended to divert water off road surfaces and reduce erosion caused by flowing water that's trapped in wheel ruts.
They are built by bolting a 15" tall piece of recycled conveyor belt to 2x6" treated lumber. You then dig a trench diagonally across the road deep enough to leave approxiamately 4" of the rubber belt exposed above your gravel road.
Once installed trucks and other machinery can easily drive over the rubber and will spring back to its original position once they have passed.
Also good for ATV trails, Bike trails, Steep Driveways, Hiking Trails, and snow shoe trails.
